Why do I need Google adwords?
Google AdWords is a cost per click (CPC) advertisement that provide instant web traffic to your web site.
It is a paid advertisement that appears in the sponsored results within a Google search results page.
How to join Google adwords?
You will need an sign up for an account with Google (there is a £5 joining fee for this) and then link your account to your website. Once setup you need to add funds for your AdWords campaign.
What is Cost Per Click?
Cost per click does exactly what is says, you pay an agreed fee (for example 10p) every time your ad is clicked.
How does it work?
Basically, you setup an advert using keywords(s) and then set the cost per click limit you are willing to pay to get it to appear on the first page of results. If some one clicks on your advert they will be taken to your website and you will be charged your agreed CPC fee.

Using Google's keyword tool, you can see how much your cost per click will cost you to get you to the number one sponsored position for your keyword.
